"How I Made the World"

One of my days lasts a lot longer than yours does. I was trying to convey the concept that I created the Universe over a period of time in sequence and I think It might have gotten over simplified.

To the nomadic tribal leader who took down the original message a week made sense so I went with it.

The 'God made the earth in six days and rested on the seventh' was a metaphor that the tribe could understand. Besides, I wanted them to rest one day out of seven anyway so it worked out, but don't take my Word so literally.

I use stories, parables, psalms, songs, gospels, sermons, beatitudes, books, films, music...whatever I think will convey my universal message of love, peace, and understanding.

You are limiting the ways I can help you when you close your mind. Okay enough said now back to creating the Universe.

I don't create a world like a construction project with blueprints and schedules.

I don't wish it into existence out of thin air either. I set into motion certain processes and forces and see what happens over time, lots of time.

I like this approach best because it involves so many surprises and challenges. It keeps life interesting.

"Making worlds out of nothing is like playing chess with yourself...too predictable."

I made the Earth using all the forces you should've learned about in science class and it took a very, very long time.

Earth didn't turn out exactly as I expected, but I like it! It has lots of diversity and dependent interactions.

I'd say it is one of my best. Take care of it and it will take care of you. More later. Be kind. Love, God
