Yes, prayer works. No, I don't answer them all.
I simply don't have the time to answer every single prayer.I do My best.

You never include the specifics anyway so what do you expect? That goes for sports events, games and gambling too.

I have to prioritize. I can pay attention to only so many prayers. Most of these desires you could and should fulfill for yourself anyway.

When you pray to win the lottery your real goal is to be free of debt and financial worry.
That is something you can manage for yourself if you keep focused and work on it.

Generally speaking, prayer helps you focus on the goal.

You have a lot better chance of getting your prayers answered if you pray for something I want.

Take world peace for example. Lots of people pray for world peace. It's been working so far. Although there are constant flare ups, nasty wars to be sure, there have been no world wars in almost sixty of your years. You've had no nuclear exchanges leading to the destruction of the civilized world. So far so good. Keep up the good work. I like prayers asking for life saving medical break-throughs, cures for diseases like Malaria and AIDS, and keeping little children safe at night. These are the types of prayers that are important to humanity and to Me. Backing your prayers up with a little love and generous sacrifice once in awhile doesn't hurt either. It shows Me you are really serious. I do listen to all your children's bedtime prayers. Who could resist? Okay for now. Be Kind.
